I like the size of the Mavic Mini - it's small, discreet and I can easily hide it in my backpack. At the same time, I want my drone to be safe. I've been using the PGYTECH case for 3 months and while it's a great minimalist case, unfortunately it doesn't offer enough protection for the mini. Just recently I had an issue with a "Propellers spinning too fast" error in flight. Further study showed that when closed, the design of this hull pushes down on the propellers hard enough for them to flatten out over time, distorting the angle of attack and forcing the engines to work harder to stabilize. I decided to do a little research and find a quality hard case. I'm a minimalist, prefer to pack light stuff and only carry the bare essentials with me, so if the suitcase needed to be bigger and heavier, it needed to have value. Everything is high quality and reliable right out of the box. Even if the brand name is unrecognizable, the feel of the case is immediately reminiscent of OtterBox or Pelican waterproof cases. The seal is tight. The loop is smooth. All drone component cutouts are so precise that they are perfect for tucking away items the first few times. The top foam for the egg crate has a lot of resilience so it won't even break the propellers, but it's bulky enough to store everything. from slip. You could probably drop this case off a two story building without damaging the contents (although I wouldn't want to try!). The suitcase was not marked with a puffy sticker with a recognizable logo, which was unexpected and valuable. If it were an unknown brand, the first thing I would do is pick up the brand and put my own sticker on it. For its size, this case holds so many components - drone, remote controller, charging hub, 4 batteries (even more if you keep them in the hub and in the drone), cables, interchangeable propellers, antenna range extenders, etc. It offers water resistance, a durable hard shell, the ability to lock down for security, and really isn't that bulky or heavy for its size. and capacity.
