.What will this product ruin your nails? I would recommend wearing gloves, my nails were cut and soaked. and i had my doubts when i ordered this product after reading other reviews stating it left chemical burns and whatnot. But after using the product I am impressed by its effectiveness in removing superficial hair. I was hoping that this product would loosen the hair or pull it away from the follicles but apparently not. It simply "melts" on superficial hair. It leaves "chicken skin-like bumps" on the skin, so it's like shaving but a little more effective. It also doesn't wash out as easily as the manufacturer claims.
