These headphones are much better and more reliable than many $10-20 headphones I've bought in the past. I originally bought them on a whim to teach my kids to respect and care for the good things people give them, but I failed! These headphones are really good and last very well. When my best ones broke, I started using them EVERY DAY for work. Sometimes I talk to them for hours on the phone. No complaints, which is saying a lot since my desktop mic is the Blue Yeti. In addition to phone calls, I listen to music or audio books for hours. They break, yes. The four of us broke up a few times a month or so. Are there better headphones? Definitely. I smoked the Bose years ago, but the Bose is about 50 times more expensive. My only complaint is that they don't suck and I've failed to teach my kids a lesson. Now I buy them in bulk and I don't care if they break.
