Look and feel just as weird as these towels; they are absolutely LEGAL! I was so surprised that even the fact that my skin was 0% moisture made me double rate it, look closely and feel how dry I am! That's pretty strange. and alarming at first; They're so used to the thickness and batting and the "wipe" feel (draining water from skin). As noted in other reviews, the first few tries will likely be strange; There will be an odd feeling that it's not that soft, it doesn't feel like the smooth 'patch' that cotton towels do - but it also says how well the material is made for moisture - so you will probably surprised at how well it soaked up all the moisture and droplets, leaving little (or no) moisture - down to the tiniest droplets - behind! So again, if you can get over that initial "weirdness" you'll be fine with it... It just goes to show that you really shouldn't "... judge a book by its cover". I really only gave these towels half a chance because it was Cyber Monday and I just had to change my towels while they were in the wash... But now I can't believe how useful and effective they are and I really am very happy with this!
