I really love this suit! And for a thicker girl it made me feel a bit sexy and it was totally secure. I wore it in the ocean in Fl with no problems. I didn't even have the straps on the top part. My husband really liked it too ;o) The sheer part does look a lot more see through once it gets wet and in pictures. But the overall fit was awesome. I did order two. One was in the burgundy in an XL and then the navy in XXL. I went with the navy for both the color and the fit. I am normally an XL(200lb and 5'2"), but the bottom and top both fit better in the next size up. Both colors were very beautiful and very close to pictured. My husband and I both liked the navy one better though. The top does have the rubbery grip strip at the top of the band to help keep it from falling down. We both thought it did look better without the straps. I love that you can adjust the bottom to be high waist or not. Hopefully I can loose this baby weight and order a size or two smaller in the future. But I would definitely recommend this suit!
