Review on ☕ Matte Thermo Mug Bobber Tumbler - 0.47L by Mirela Horga ᠌
No joy in buying the product, it's not good.
I used a bobberbottle.com mug. Yes, I did wash the mug and soak the lid in cold water for 18 hours, but that didn't fix the problem, Bobber shop. The transport tube has a terrible odor as well, but I didn't care because I wasn't planning on drinking coffee out of it. The o-ring is the source of the problem with the lid. The silicone construction is strong, but the material has a serious flaw: it readily absorbs unpleasant scents. The price of the product and the number of such flaws can be lowered if regular recycled cardboard is used instead of tubes with raw glue during production.
- The style and features of the mug appealed to me.
- There's a strong chemical odor coming from the lid, and it reminds me of a silicone o-ring in particular. One major problem is that you can't use a cup with it because the stench would make your drink sickening.
