good mob on computer components

I received the installation on a Hydra Mini chassis build. I'm using a Ryzen 3600 with Scythe Big Shuriken 3, GTX 1080 Founders, G.SKILL Trident Z Neo F4-3600C16D-32GTZN, Samsung 790 EVO PLUS, Samsung 970 EVO and a Corsair SF600 PSU. Everything went well. Obviously I don't need a C front panel on the Hydra Mini, so this worked great for me. I updated to the UEFI F2a update before even attempting to install Windows. When I enabled decoding over 4g in UEFI, I lost everything related to the chipset in Windows. Strangely this just happened to my Asrock Taichi Ultimate with the latest update. I think it must be a bug in the latest AMD code as I've always used this setting in the past. After I turned it off, both systems worked fine with all devices detected. Another thing that stuck for a minute is the M.2 mount on the front. I removed the cover and heatsink and at first couldn't figure out why the drive wouldn't lay flat. The strut was too high and I was wondering if the thing next to it should be lowered and then a radiator fitted? Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the top of the rack unscrews and you then put the drive in and screw on top of the drive, then put the heatsink down and screw on, then put the cap back on the whole thing. Also be careful as the heads and threads are easy to remove and feel the same way. I've been running for a few days now with no problems and so far I can recommend this board. I am planning to install one of the next Ryzen processor series and one of the best upcoming GPUs. I will definitely come back and update if I run into any issues.

Pros
  • Supports 3rd gen AMD Ryzen processors
Cons
  • Not sure
