What they don't tell you is that you must turn off your remote starter FIRST! Otherwise your computer will not recognize the control module. I searched all over the internet until I finally found a YouTube video and someone mentioned in the comments that the power cord should be unplugged. When I did, it showed up on my computer! I've tried this cable on my Mac and PC and had no problems!
