Bought this for a outside hanging hammock chair. Super smooth and quiet. Spins like crazy - if you give it a good spin it will spin for several minutes. Kids love it. I love it because before this the chair would squeak and groan when spinning. Now super quiet.I also bought one of these to hang a Tree swing. (from a swing set) I used this swivel to allow the swing to spin freely as it swings and it works great.The load capability of 1,000 lobs also provides piece of mind as the kids can not overload this pivot when several of them pile on the swing. (OK - OK, it also allows the adults to swing with out worrying about overloading the setup!)
