My little 7 year old girl Doxy loves this dog bed. When I first installed it, she quickly fell asleep in it. We want to take it with us on a hike. It is lightweight and easy to fold. I added a cooling blanket when it gets hot to keep it warm. When the evening got a little cooler, she asked for her blanket with him. The other dogs tried to join her, but she refused by pushing them. The kittens tried and failed to join her. Perfect size for a small dog or kitten. Especially dogs with back problems. It's low enough to the ground for easy entry and exit. If your dog is overly excited and jumps quickly, they may fall back a bit so you may be able to hold back a bit if your dog is hyper. Or add some stability in the back for support. It works great for my girlfriend and I am happy with this purchase. As you can see my fluffy little one passed out completely after a long day with mom.
