Because you have to get close to the mirror, and it doesn't adjust enough for you to see yourself unless it's propped, held, or placed on something to get it in the right position. job title. It has a standee that charges, but the charging port has failed so it no longer lights up. She loves it. She says it's nice and bright, and the 10x magnification might show even more than she cares to see. She doesn't need a light, except when she's putting on makeup in the evening.
