I read so many reviews while trying to find a mount for my iPad Pro 12.9”. That's it! It fits with space! I don't currently have a case, but I think it still fits in a slim case. He is durable. There is a latch to attach the grip to the tablet so it doesn't move at all. We used it on road trips for our 2 year old rear facing Nissan Armada. The only thing I complain about is that I want my arm to go higher. With the headrest all the way up and the mount adjusted as high as possible, my daughter can kick the underside of the mount and the tablet screen. She is very small for her age, about the size of a 15 month old baby. We taught her not to kick him, but other than that it worked great for us.
