I bought so many toilet mats and I hate most of them. I want something my cats won't feel uncomfortable on and I don't want a mat for the litter to get on. I find them very difficult to clean. My biggest problem is that I wanted a rug that I could easily wipe the surface of. For some reason the lockout clock works every time I get a new mat my cat decides to throw up on it usually within 24 hours. Carpets that get caught in dirt or grooved mats are very difficult to clean and I have to hose them down so I have to unroll and re-roll the hose. It's a whole thing. The top of this rug is not entirely flat, but the surface is closed enough for me to wipe up the mess. Closing hours I put this blanket in and the next day, yes he vomited on it. I had to clean it of course, but I didn't have to do it with a hose so it made cleaning that much easier. The rug is welcoming and soft enough that cats don't mind walking on it and I can kneel on it when cleaning the litter box. I would recommend this rug.
