High Expectations - Bib

I had high hopes for these bibs but my child can't bear to wear them around his neck. Firstly, it is so wide that, for example, when flattened it reaches from the chin to mid-chest so that when buttoned up it puckers, seems to have too much fabric in it and is rather uncomfortable. The material feels comfortable and absorbs quite well. He just doesn't like wearing it.
