I'd purchased this last January 2022 during a cold spell; then the weather got warmer before I had a chance to wear; it seemed like I'd overreacted. :-( Now December 2022, a major cold front in the NE and. boy am I glad I overreacted in January. :-D I' d purchased the version with the sherpa lining to be on the safe side. Besides being very warm, it's very soft and also very big & roomy: As this was the first time putting it on, I almost felt lost while putting it over my head. Claustophobics, take note. (Joking but it did take a few extra seconds to find the right opening to put my head through). I'm 5'2" and sixe 2X. There's still extra room and it falls just below my knees. The cowl collar can be pulled up and used as a hood; there's a toggle on the collar to allow tighthening as you want. The knit wrists are a huge plus. If you want to be "snug as a bug" get this! No more indoor shivers!
