This product allows you to use both sides of the zipper when performing the disposable zipper technique for sewing projects that is all the rage these days (popularized by Joanne Hawley and others). Without the extra stretch, you would be throwing away the other side of the zipper, defeating the purpose of saving time and money. You need to make sure you are using the correct zippers - these zippers will only work with YKK #3 skirt and dress zippers as the zippers are not interchangeable. Only one black stick is included (must be ordered separately for black sticks), otherwise the choice of colors is ok. This product allows you to spice up your project with a different color zipper and pull tab.
