I value my bags very much, I want functionality but I don't care about aesthetics. look good but don't work well. Just not this bag. This bag replaced two others I was using that just didn't fit; This has been my everyday bag for over a year since I received it in April 2020. What I love about this large bag: 1. It has *useful* pockets: It has 3 front patch pockets that run the full length of the bag. I use them for my card holders in one, a miniature (5.75 x 8.75) notepad in the middle pocket and my phone in the last.2. The hardware is attractive and durable. After a year and a half of continuous use, the device shows no real signs of wear and tear. The hardware that connects the straps to the bag is great because I can attach things like keys to it without having to put them in the bag itself.3. The size is wonderful. I'm not the type to carry a lot of things in my bag, but I have a large wallet, an emergency kit and a few other things that take up space and there's a lot of free space. There is an internal "stash" pocket with a zipper sewn to the lining that makes up the pocket and to its interior (the back interior of the pocket itself). This bag is useful to me because it serves as a divider within the bag that does NOT divide the whole bag like you see on some5. There is an external zippered pocket on the back, which is great for small items like pens, lip balms or anything else you want to put in the pocket, which is easy to access and can be closed with a zipper (non-slip)6. There are also two inner patch pockets, but I can't speak to those as I don't use them often.7. The whole bag zips up, the zip is secure and the hardware is great, but that's all I can say as I don't zip often.8. Because this bag is made of canvas, it is foldable and MUST NOT wrinkle when folded. This is the main space-saving bag.9. The haircut is in good condition. All I can notice is a bit of thread sticking out where the fabric for the strap is folded. There are *some* cracks on the belt itself, but very minor after 1.5 years of continuous use. Tearing also does not affect the performance of the bags.10. The large bottom of the bag correctly reflects how much can fit in this bag. The only thing I would like to change about this bag is that it has a dark lining that can obscure vision. It doesn't affect me too much personally just because I'm not a minor major, but I can definitely see this as a problem/inconvenience for some.
