Review on 📦 Icy Dock: Compact 5.25" Mount SATA 3.5" HDD Enclosure - Space-saving and Reliable Storage Solution by Nick Tucker

When I unpacked it I found it poorly and cheaply made. I was particularly concerned that the clasp, which is made of plastic, wears out and fails quickly. It also requires the HD to be placed in a tray which is then inserted into a docking station, which is cumbersome, but I knew that when I ordered it. I ordered it anyway because I thought it was a good choice otherwise. My concerns about durability proved to be justified. Now, three weeks after I received it, it no longer works. I plug in HD, the power LED is on and that's it. Windows does not recognize HD.
