It was exactly what I was hoping for and I'm glad I bought the 50 pack as I've used them all. I need them to hold the bed's apron in place which was also a bit too big. That way I could fold it up and secure it with these pins, which did two things - shorter and more secure. I don't want to bore you with the details but I had to remove and reinstall the pins twice - not a fault of the product. I'm adding this to say that removal was easy and there was no damage. Not sure I want to use them on a bed skirt that had that cheap paper center piece. (By the way, avoid bed skirts with a cheap paper core! I have one that lasts a few years and literally falls apart.)
