I was skeptical but bought 2 packs. In our guest house I have installed ceiling fan remote controls with a manual control and a wall control mounted in a wall junction box. The wall switches control the lighting and the fan using the buttons on the switch panel. It was difficult to find the right button in the dark. I installed one of these over each switch and now it's easy to find the right button. So I ordered a few more - one for the outside door of our RV, one for the recessed wall of the ceiling fan in our bedroom, one for the light switches in the RV, one for the front door to comply with church building codes, etc. I keep finding more . used and so far absolutely no disappointments. For the ones I installed I just used the included double sided tape to ensure both surfaces were very clean before installing these blocks. Considering the RV is a rolling earthquake and I only rode them a short hop, at least until nothing came off.
