I didn't like this system. When I answer a call it works for about a minute and then disconnects. The indicators on the base and extender are still lit, indicating the system is still powered on but there is no audio. While the line is still open, a momentary hang-up and pick-up restores service, but then it goes off again after about ten seconds. I called their hotline, and after unsuccessful automatic repairs, I got a live person. All he seemed to know was to send it to their repair station. But when two brand new devices fail in exactly the same way, it's not a repair.
