The mount is well made but has some imperfections. The lock and driveshaft are extremely tight in the bed holes on my 2012 Ranger 800 XP, even when rotated to its weakest point. This makes it almost impossible to move once installed. I had to move the shackle to another location and the shaft had to be knocked out from underneath after disassembling the shackle. When I finally got it out I smeared it with soapy water thinking it would help in the new location but it was the same and had to be driven into the hole and into the new location with a wooden block. Again so tight that the bracket is not quite flush with the bed. The wedge ring that allows the yoke to be tilted should in fact have thinner wedges to have a greater range of adjustment as bed space for tipping is very limited once the gun cover is in the yoke.
