Good half price replacement for the original part. Although it came with no instructions, it really isn't that difficult to install. Note: You need to rewire a little, but you only need to match the color of the wire. GM had a burn-in problem with these units and redesigned them, requiring three simple wire connections using the new included wiring harness. The part comes with crimp splicers to simplify this part of the project. Special Note: This part is for automatic temperature control only; the original part has a three-pin connector; If you have one with a seven-pin connector, you have a manual temperature control and will need a different part. One complaint: the crimp splicer, designed for a single thin wire (probably 26 or 28 gauge), was too big and the metal housing inside was too rigid; good crimping of this wire was impossible; Had to switch to another brand which worked fine. Overall: thumbs up for this part.
