Not what we expected.
Getting started. This radio must be connected to the mains to fully charge. If you want to connect to a wall outlet, you will need to order a cable. Got the radio, charge it up. The charge indicator light came on for half a second and then went off. It seems that the part of the wire that connects to the radio has/had a short. You can see the cables. Bottom line: if you're buying this as an emergency radio, keep shopping. You want something you can be sure will work when you need it.
