Not sure but still using it!
I bought this microphone for recording YouTube videos. I'm just starting out so I'm using my phone but it also works with the camera depending on the mic port your camera has. I really didn't notice any difference between video audio with a mic and audio without a mic. microphone honestly. I thought it would sound more professional but maybe I would use a camera. I still use it because I bought it. But I do not care.
