I lived in my (rental) apartment for a few years and a few months ago one of my toilets started leaking after flushing the water. I went back to shake the pen and nothing helped. So I removed the cap from the tank and saw that the hard water had corroded the rubber damper before I moved in and installed the water softener. I turned off the water on the wall and went to Revane to see what they have as I'm too lazy to go to the store. Found this at a reasonable price and had it delivered in a couple of days. I was able to cut the rubber piece off as I had a different setup in the tank and didn't need the ring to slide. I used the little wings on the side to attach to the hooks, clip them to my arm and rinse off. It was really easy to make and I was happy about it because I'd rather do something quickly myself than wait for the owner. So five stars!
