The device is perfection. I LOVE the sound it makes when typing. It's easier to type than on my MacBook and smaller than other wireless keyboards I've had. I LOVE that it's Bluetooth, which means I DON'T have to use a bunch of extension cords just to plug my charger, keyboard, and mouse into a USB port. So, now to the setup. CONNECTING TO A MACBOOK: To be honest I missed the part where it says "HOLD FOR 3 SECONDS". Since the instructions are very minimal, you have to go through all the words in the photo to realize that when you press the F1, F2 or F3 key, you have to hold it down for 3 seconds. Bluetooth will then detect your keyboard. The MacBook will then prompt you to enter a 6-digit code on the new keyboard. (This part is not in the manual). After that, you will be asked to press the 2 keys next to the left and right "SHIFT" key. This is NOT in the instructions, but the computer will tell you how to follow this process. CONNECTING TO THE IPAD PRO: I had problems here, only about 45 minutes. At first I couldn't connect the Bluetooth on my iPad to the keyboard. I held down the F2 button for 3 seconds, the keyboard was found in the Bluetooth list, when I clicked the keyboard option on my iPad and entered the 6 digit code, nothing happened. I've done this a few times and even watched a few videos on YT. LOL In one video a guy mentioned that he has an iPad Pro. So I was wondering if I had a pro. (Yes, but it shouldn't matter.) Then I realized I had the 14.# update, so I did. and when it restarted and I was ready to reconnect, I convinced myself that I would never use this keyboard with an iPad, so I only try again max 2 times. So here's try #147. I even tried F3 to see if that would connect and nothing. I disabled bluetooth on my macbook to see if it picks up the "signal" and nothing. Finally, the last time I tried it, I held down the F2 button for 3 seconds, Bluetooth recognized the keyboard, I entered a 6-digit code, and in the heat of the moment I hit <ENTER> and BOOM what made a connection! LOL Well, the instructions don't say that, but it's very important that you press enter. On a MacBook, the screen will prompt you to press Enter, and as you type the 6-digit code, the screen will indicate that it recognizes each number one by one until you get to the part where you pressed Enter . But there is no manual on the iPad.
