My house has fiber optics and the clock works fine in our house. Yesterday my daughter tried to message me and so did I. Neither of us received a message. She told me that she had a stroke circle all the time at school and after school I was recommended to use a Speedtalk sim card which is actually supported by Tmobile. But their coverage map has NO 2G coverage at all. A clock is useless if it cannot be used outside the home. I think that's what you get for a cheap product made outside of the USA. I think this 2G coverage is coming to an end so this product should be removed from Amazon. It is not entirely apparent on the seller side that 2G coverage is not always possible. Again, useless if my daughter can't reach me in an emergency. I'm sending it back.
