Review on 🌿 Cruelty-Free Natural Deodorant - Green Tidings by Jodi Ward

Revainrating 3 out of 5

So sad to leave a 3 star review on my favorite deodorant :-(

I can't believe I'm one of the first to review a Revain product! So excited! I even have these added first pics πŸ“Έ Too bad this time Green Tidings product didn't live up to expectations Natural for skin care 10 years ago I keep coming back to Green Tidings even though it's a more expensive brand It's the only natural deodorant that Keeps odors away for 24 hours For many years it seemed like there were only two fragrances: Unscented and Lavender Now they have several new fragrances, one of which is Floral Spice If something isn't rancid I don't deduct stars for the smell. What I love you may not like it the scent is very personal I would say that Floral Spice is mainly floral not spicy or musky I really like the scent but a lot Eight more for the winter than for the summer. Perfumery. My problem is related to the roughness of the deodorant. The product contains small lumps, probably baking soda. If you've been using natural deodorants and got a rash, it may be due to baking soda (either an allergy or a texture). The roughness causes irritation under the armpits. In addition, the product is also a bit sticky/tacky, which has not been the case with any of my other Green Tidings deodorants. It didn't cause a rash, but I washed the product off as soon as I could at the end of the day. In fact, I still smelled nice after removing the product, but I was glad I was done with the floral spices so I could go back to the orange-vanilla, which is smooth and easy to apply. My other problem is related to the small size of the tester. I usually order the large 2.7 oz and they last for several months. This 1 ounce lasted just over a week. Approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the product is in the bottom lift, which is not accessible. I wish I had noticed earlier and snapped a picture. You can see the tube is about the size of a cap and fills about 1/2, in stark contrast to the large size which fills top to bottom. On the plus side, performance is excellent. Running for over 24 hours. The scent fades a bit during the day. Now it's just a deodorant, not an antiperspirant, so you can sweat on a hot day or while exercising. Also, remember that less is more when using baking soda deodorant. Maximum 2 hits per armpit. I use a wipe most workdays. Too frequent use can cause irritation. When using a new stick for the first time, it can be difficult to apply due to the flat top. Just stick to it and it will suit your body. I also had no armpit growths on my shirts. No coloring either. Aroma and product are washed out without pre-treatment. I also noticed that it doesn't leave white marks on shirts. Thank you for taking the time to read this long review. I hope you find it useful. 😊
