Review on Exquisite European Glass Pitcher with Beautiful Silicone Overlay by Brian Wolf

This is pretty much what I was looking for in form and function in a jug: borosilicate with a full silicone lid and a large handle. Two things that make it perfect are a slightly larger size and a lid with a large raised top edge to fully cover the spout. However, it is absolutely gorgeous and actually holds a lot more than 52 ounces. in the item description: My daily 64 ounces can fill a pitcher. Water with no problem standing all the way up and still put the lid on. And the lid is fantastic: food-grade silicone with a snug fit that's also easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean too. My former water pitcher that I really wanted to love for about a year now has a stainless steel lid. with silicone ring. The metal part of the lid had both a groove for a removable silicone ring and a bottom edge in the metal that wasn't easy to clean and was prone to mold if not cleaned regularly every few weeks or so. -Pooh! I keep my pot on the counter and use it daily so that was a problem for me. I wanted something I could rinse daily and clean once every few days without taking off the little silicone rings and figuring out how to clean the parts of the lid that I can't get to easily. This new pitcher is a massive improvement! The grip is just perfect and I think bigger hands than me will have no problem with it. The weight of the filled pot is not too big and really just perfect. I am attaching a photo of my cover solution. I turned the plastic measuring cup 2 cups over the pitcher - not pretty but it helps for now. I ordered some silicone covers that can also work where the lid protrudes from the spout to keep out dust and dirt - important for me as the jug sits on the counter all day. That being said, this is absolutely the best, most beautiful jug I have ever owned and I am very happy with the purchase.
