I've used other button presses and this one from GAR is the best, especially for big buttons. The bottom is flat; There is no protrusion on the back like the others so I can place it anywhere on the button and it will stay on. (The protrusion on the other sewing feet prevents the button from being held if it's too close to the edge.) Second, this sewing foot is slightly wider, allowing for a larger stitch area. My needle never gets caught on the blue part of the foot (like the big buttons on the other feet). All in all, I highly recommend this foot, especially for large buttons. One complaint - there are no instructions on how to install this foot. It's not that hard, but it's a little frustrating at first. You need to tip the food down toward you, catching the back of your foot first. Then align and snap into place.
