They seem strong enough to last. does the job. The trick I use is to attach one of these wire holders to the cord so I can roll up the excess as these cords are a bit long. That being said, I'm glad they made them long because there are definitely times when you need the extra length and wiggle room. By using my little hack (you can use a paper clip, paperclip, etc) you fold up the excess which allows me to use these cables in any situation. I like having something different around the house, in the car, and in the luggage so I don't have to keep track of things. Besides, if I lose something, there's no panic.
