As stated in another review. 2 minute drive and he slipped and smoked. Drive 1:1. This is basically a cool mower project. Installed the clutch, made the chain, put it in gear to get 6mph on flat ground, drove up a two foot hill and at full throttle it wouldn't rev up and smoke was pouring out of the clutch. My next option was to build an overdrive. but if that clutch can't take any more load now at 12:1. can't handle overdrive. normal karts are 6:1 so I have a double reduction which puts almost no stress on the clutch. drove the clutch center route before buying the torque converter to see if it would work.
