I purchased this product to trim and shape my husband's haircut during the COVID-19 lockdown. I was surprisingly good at thinning and shaping my hair with the side part of a comb with recessed blades. If there were no other issues I would give this product 5 stars. HOWEVER, razor blades mounted within the comb are loose and tend to move. If you look at the photo attached to this review, you will see that one of the razor blades has come out of the guards on the lower right side of the comb. This can potentially cause serious injury if you slide the comb close to the skin, not to mention unwanted "bumps" in the hair. If you only use the comb with the indented side of the blade, you shouldn't have any problems. ADVICE. When using this haircut comb, make sure to wet your hair first and then comb or detangle it before trimming. When trimming, hold it at a 45 degree angle to the hair and GENTLY move the trimmer in the direction of hair growth. Remove hair gradually, paying particular attention to raised areas. Slowly move around the head, remembering to maintain LIGHT PRESSURE. It would be nice if instructions were included.
