It took me over a year to use it. Not because I don't have ashes to put in, but because the process of sifting through loved ones' ashes to place in a necklace is emotionally difficult. The package was good. Everything was taken into account, and the process itself didn't go as badly as I expected. Every speck of dust that escaped caused me to panic a little. Once I attached the chain, it became airtight. Nothing has happened. Thanks for a great keepsake product.
