My 4 year old daughter wanted a leotard and all the leotards sold at the gymnastics club had large leg holes or thin straps and I knew they would not fit a wavy 4 year old from birth. I ordered this in the hope that it would at least just fit her and cover her butt and it far exceeded my expectations! She fits perfectly, and even if she doesn't, the "shorts" with leg holes allow some wiggle room and still cover her small buttocks, even if the swimsuit is too big or too small. She feels comfortable in it and I don't mind if she wears it or if we have something to do before or after gym class. She likes that it's shiny and makes you think of butterflies and I like that it's not too shiny and has no marks. I would definitely buy this again!
