I read the reviews on this lamp carefully before buying it, but bought it anyway. It doesn't have a great FakeSpot review, but I liked the look. After using it for several months, I am very satisfied with my purchase. All materials seem to be of high quality and I've only had good performance from them. The base is a real brass color and the light is warm and comfortable. I would carefully unscrew the bowl part, but I had no problems. It's a great statement piece that will provide fantastic lighting for a small space, but don't expect it to be the centerpiece of more than one bedroom or small office.
