My iPad mini just arrived today and I used it first without the screen protector so I can compare how it looks with the screen protector installed. Installation is easy. I used the instruction stickers and cleaning kit that came with it and no lint got on the screen. It easily removed the smudges I put on the screen and made the cleaning process easier. The camera cutout is tricky as it fits snugly over the screen protector. Fortunately, there were no problems with the closed front camera. One thing you'll notice right away is the amount of glare the screen protector creates. Not a huge issue indoors, but definitely noticeable outdoors or in a brightly lit area. I haven't had this problem with a bare iPad screen. Another problem is that the screen protector is a fingerprint magnet. The description says it has an oleophobic coating, but that's not the case. I was curious if there is any film I could leave on the screen protector but there is nothing. I've had older iPads and the screen protectors I've used didn't smudge like this one. Also, you will need alcohol swabs to remove stains as regular microfiber does not remove stains very well. I will wait for more reviews of other screen protectors and maybe buy another one in the future.
