Review on Dorman Solutions 902 3022 Coolant Thermostat by Jimmy Bores

Fits perfectly in my 1963 Chrysler Imperial Crown however the Dorman 902-3022 is cast metal not sheet metal and not steel like the OEM version so the base plate is significantly thicker the base was like that thick that I couldn't put a wrench on the bolt to tighten the case. I ended up buying a hex bolt and using a ball end hex wrench to tighten the damn thing. The only other way I could install this on my IMP with the original bolts , consists of removing and reinstalling the air conditioning compressor.which is a huge pain.Let's hope I won't be back in the near future e have a faulty thermostat. The other case model I considered was the Four Seasons 84805. I'm not sure if the Four Seasons is also cast, but if not I might switch to that next time I need to remove the thermostat case .
