Well made, but the distance between the mounting holes is not standardized.
Powerful, the finish seems good, the materials seem good. However, the spacing between the rows of 1/4" mounting holes front and rear is not standard. The hole spacing should be 9mm to match other cages/base plates/etc. but that's a bit off. " I don't use these holes, just stick it on the camera with the tripod plate underneath. Yes, it came in a nice zipped semi-rigid clamshell case. I'm not sure why they think it would be useful as this part isn't built into the rig, which you pack and store separately. A nice bonus that could be used for other gear I think?
