Review on Pentax K-r 12.4 MP Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens (Black): High-resolution photography made easy by Charles Palma

I bought this camera based on some nice features and Consumer Reports buy recommendation. My first use was to capture both photos and videos of my dad's 100th birthday party. I have effortlessly created a wonderful collection of photos of four generations of a family that I probably would not have been able to capture without a number of features of a good SLR. Pentax meets my expectations in every respect. It's a very handy camera, but it also has a fantastic array of customizable features. I'm still learning some of the features, but the camera is intuitive and the manual is helpful. It also saved me hundreds of dollars over Canon and Nikon equivalents.
