Review on 👜 Brown Myra Bag Shoulder Bag by Tanya Reed

My friend received this bag from her customer as a thank you. I fell in love with this look. It was a great surprise to find it at Revain and I ordered it straight away. I love the look of hair against skin - it's not the only hair piece I have in my household items. The straps are the right length, strong but not too bulky (more on that below). The large, open outer pocket contrasts in color with the main part of the bag, but is not as unattractive. I reckon it will be a few years before I wear the hair out and then I might be ready to turn it into a chair cushion. I mean why not? It already zips up and fits into a 15 x 15 pillow. No sewing is required for this repurposing! If the straps break before then, I take the bag to the saddler to replace with strong reins. Overall I am satisfied with this bag. It suits my everyday, somewhat rural/suburban lifestyle. On my Myra bag, the metal parts appear to be brass or with a brass finish that's more matte than shiny. My only criticism of the bag is the material the two straps are made of. In fact, they look/feel like thick felt instead of leather. I believe the durability of the bag depends on the durability of the two straps exposed to wet palms, body oils and the weight of the bag's contents. In the future, these straps can easily be swapped out, so I'm not deducting a star from my rating. The bag itself should last a lifetime. Please note my three attached photos show straps with a D ring for easy access to my keys; and then views from both sides of the bag, first on a loveseat with cushions and then on a sofa (seat upholstered in very large brown mottled cowhide) with another cushion with hair on the armrest of the sofa. Given the versatility of this Myra bag, you'll get your money's worth. I like using it.
