Bought these headphones to replace the headphones that came with my underwater MP3 player. Replacement headphones cost 2/3 more than the original player so I started looking for a replacement and found these. The price was right so I gave them a try and wasn't disappointed. I've used them a few times now and the sound quality is better than my original headphones and the earbuds stay in my ears much better. To be honest I forget I'm wearing headphones and just focus on swimming which is the goal. Yes, the cords are short, but they are used to attach the glasses to the back of the head. If you wear them like this, they are long enough but do not draw water. (I'm a medium sized woman and my husband is a tall man and we are both happy with the fit.) I don't know how people who complain about the length of the cord wear them, but without an extender they are NOT ENOUGH for Wear. Clip at hip or waist.
