Russell used to make pretty good sportswear. This isn't one of them. The material is thin. The threads in the seams began to diverge after the first wash of the shorts. The waistband started to unravel after the third wash. Shorts diverge (see photo). Russell saved a lot on the materials and workmanship of these shorts. I purchased the Men's Champion Jersey Pocket Shorts at the same time as these Russell Athletic Men's Pocket Shorts. I figured I'd compare two brands of track pants and order more of the one I like best. The Champion shorts I have ordered are of much better quality, more durable materials and construction. I will not order Russell again.
