I bought these jeans for my 9 year old son for Christmas. When I received them I was pleased with the quality of the fabric and stitching and the overall look of the pants. However, when he opened them up and tried them on on Christmas morning, we were both shocked and disappointed at how they fit. The leg length and width were perfect, but the waist was almost 6 inches too big! Jeans have no elastic. I asked my mom, who does remodels, if they could be redone and she said that with such a huge size difference, it was almost impossible. So unfortunately we returned it. My son is 4ft 2in and 60lbs. He's long-legged and lanky, and skinny jeans suit him best. These jeans are not for long-legged, lanky boys. If your child is small and stocky they might fit him, otherwise they won't.
