I'm a runner and I ended up hurting my shin because I was messing around during training. I have several different compression sleeves, different brands and different sizes. Some were too loose, others had perfect compression on my shins and calves, but to have that much compression they were too tight around the ankle. I usually wear shin pads all day during an injury because I think it speeds healing. I had to take off the good compression sleeves within an hour because they cut my ankle so hard. Then I found this! They are fully adjustable. I have small calves, small calves. With 3 adjustable straps (good quality) I can tighten them exactly how I want them in the places I need it. And you no longer have to take off your shoes and accidentally take off your socks when you want to take off your compression gear. They are attached to the leg and not put on like a sock.
