Meets almost all criteria

If you are looking for black headphones, this is the set. Quality black earbuds are hard to find these days, so this is a good find. They fit my ear exactly as I had hoped. My biggest concern was the build quality of the product, the fit I wanted, and then the functionality and looks. The assembly is excellent. They feel like headphones; they definitely don't look cheap. They don't feel like an earbud and still stay in my ears, but that's never been an issue for me. They also sit well in the ears. At least they fit my ears well. I've always preferred in-ear headphones over in-ear headphones. I have no problem with them dropping out in most semi-active "sports". I wouldn't play basketball with them, but I enjoy mountain biking. This is partly due to the non-slip/matt surface. I think this is the best workmanship because it makes the headphones easier to use. The sound is great. I listened to BDP and Metallica, all sounded good. I was told that the microphone works fine. Who knows. It has a washer to hold the two wires together, but it doesn't extend past the microphone. What comes down to disadvantages here. The biggest problem with these headphones is the volume control. While this works, the Shift key isn't distinct enough from the rest of the body, so it's hard to tell if a) your thumb/finger is on the key and b) if you can find the key's up/down/middle parts of the button are indistinguishable from each other. This is real pain. Instead, I usually have to use the volume controls on my phone. Maybe it's my fingers, but for me it's a disadvantage. Other than that, it's great. The optics are excellent, the sound is excellent, the microphone works, they sit well in the ears. The little bag is great too. That's a lot of checks on the professional side of the column. I'm just saying.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
