The watch is beautiful and I love the look of it. It has two downsides, even at a reasonable price. While the instructions say you can adjust the size yourself, this is only for someone experienced with the specific task and with properly sized tools. Most other reviewers have noted that you should take this to a jeweler to get sizing, which is really good advice. I don't see that as a big hurdle, because theoretically you do it once and it's done. The big problem, however, is the clasp. Very difficult to open. A small protrusion when lifting is negligible. I would say microscopic. It's also very tight on the hinge side so it takes a lot of force to open the clasp AND the part you have to lift is so tiny it takes some very stiff and very narrow plastic to fit in the gap to fit and pry . it's open. I was very lucky that my sweetheart happened to have such a tool to give me, otherwise I was planning to return this watch. It shouldn't be that hard to open the clasp. It should move a little more in the hinge, and the edge you lift it on should be large enough to open it. I don't know how anyone else does it! I have a 10-8 performance armor tool to work with!
