The straps are very well made and seem to hold up with repeated use. The only thing I don't like is that the end and the material around the buckle is not leather but a plastic material that looks like leather. The description does not indicate what material it is. Based on past experience with this type of material, I would expect it to become sticky over time and end the life of the belt. However, if the material was actually leather, the price would be much higher. So for what I paid I am very happy with the straps. UPDATE: I am so pleased with these straps that I have purchased two more. At first I was concerned about the material around the end of the strap and around the buckle, but after more than a year of almost daily use there has been no sign of wear or stickiness. These belts are of excellent quality. I've noticed that the ones I bought with darker buckles seem a bit shorter than the ones with shiny buckles. They're pretty true to size anyway. The ones with the shiny buckle were a bit longer than I would have liked. I almost ordered a size down when I ordered the ones with the darker buckles, but I'm glad I didn't as they would probably be too small. They stretch, so if they feel a little short, they stretch a little. Very happy with my purchases.
