The mirror arrived in perfect condition! The packaging they use for security is very strong. I know some reviews say the stand is detached or broken from the mirror; Not sure if this is a misunderstanding but the stand is free standing. The description says that the stand needs to be attached and how, as well as instructions on how to do it. You have to put the mirror on the stand and it will snap into place. Don't let these reviews put you off this purchase. Now let's get to the mirror itself. It's big and so bright. It lights up my whole room by itself. I didn't use batteries as I have an extension cord on my vanity so I'm not sure how battery power works. The USB cable isn't too long, so you'll need an outlet nearby or get a longer one. The mirror itself is very clear, it is very well made and durable. The price of this mirror is worth it. I bought a much smaller mirror a year ago which was the only mirror and battery only, for the same price, it barely lasted a couple of weeks before the lights went out and it wasn't even usable unless the batteries have been replaced - who wants to replace 6 batteries every few weeks? *This one only needs 4*Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase. I got it not long ago so I'll update if there are any changes. As a professional makeup artist and beauty enthusiast, I use my mirror for a few hours 5-6 days a week, so we'll see how it holds up with longer use!
